Rebecca D’Onofrio, M.Sc., has worked in impact assessment for most of her career, and currently works for the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada. Prior to this, Rebecca worked as an aquatic scientist for an international environmental consulting firm, and as an environmental coordinator and environmental permitting specialist for mining companies in Northern Ontario and British Columbia.

Rebecca holds a Master’s degree of Biology from the University of Ottawa. Rebecca’s research focused on the effects of thawing permafrost on biota from small lakes in the Mackenzie Delta uplands, Northwest Territories.
