The Ontario Association for Impact Assessment (OAIA), a forum for exchanging information and promoting best practice in impact assessment. OAIA organizes two types of events annually: Webinars and Conference. These are held in person or virtually.

OAIA is organizing its annual conference and is now seeking sponsors.

The 2026 conference will take place on November 3rd and 4th, 2026, and will be held in-person (and virtually) at the Ontario Bar Association. The conference theme is: Beyond Assessment: Shaping the Future of Assessment Through Innovation & Lifecycle Thinking.

Reasons for Sponsoring

Some of the reasons for sponsoring the conference include:

  • In recent years the in-person OAIA conference has attracted around 160 participants. We’ve also had between 70-150 people attend our webinars in the past.
  • Participants come from industry, federal, provincial and municipal governments, Indigenous communities and organizations, and academia. 2026 Conference Sponsorship Levels

The Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorship levels are the highest types of sponsorship available at our conference.  Companies that choose to be a Level Sponsor will benefit from high visibility at the conference, as well as complimentary registrations.

Confirmed sponsors are requested to provide required information to info@oaia.on.ca in the prescribed formats available here.

Webinars

In 2026 sponsorships are welcome to support virtual webinars being held throughout the year. Hosting webinars are not cost free for the OAIA, a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers.  As such, sponsorships of $500, $1000 or $1500 are welcome. Webinar sponsors will be acknowledged verbally by the facilitator and their logos would appear on the screen as a sponsor along with the OAIA logo as the host.
