Beth Williston, MCIP, RPP has a degree in Geography with a specialization in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario.  She is a member of OPPI and CPI.  Beth is part of the senior management team at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority where she is the Associate Director for Infrastructure Planning and Permits. She oversees a team of 22 planners and administrative staff, and is responsible for the environmental assessment review and conservation authority permit approvals for infrastructure projects within the nine watersheds of TRCA’s jurisdiction in the greater Toronto area.

Beth has almost 30 years of expertise in both land use and environmental assessment planning, and extensive experience working with the technical disciplines of water resources, ecology, geotechnical and hydrogeology, as well as climate change. Beth’s responsibilities also include the Emergency Infrastructure Works and Spills Response portfolios at TRCA, as well as overseeing a volunteer program within her team that offers support to new Canadians and recent graduates seeking environmental planning experience.
