Anjala Puvananathan, B.Sc., has significant experience in the federal civil service working in predominantly policy and management positions in the areas of environment, labour markets, health and public health. She is currently a Director on the Board of OAIA. She is also the Director, General Regional Operations, East, at the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada.
Prior to joining the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada, Anjala held positions at the Public Health Agency of Canada, Health Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, as well as Employment and Social Development Canada (when it used to be called Human Resources and Social Development Canada). Anjala is a graduate of the University of Toronto with degrees in Human Biology, and Environment and Resource Management.
