The past two years have presented challenges and inflicted grief on many in Ontario, Canada and throughout the world. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to impact our societies and affects many sectors engaged in both the response to COVID-19 and the recovery from COVID-19. In this webinar, we explore the ways in which impact assessment practitioners have had to adapt, pivot, and rethink their work in impact assessment and what the implications of these lessons learned are for the centrality of impact assessment in good decision making in the short- and long-term.
During this webinar, speakers will discuss their experiences with projects in northern Ontario, with both provincial and federal processes, as well as the challenges, innovations, and lessons learned in adapting impact assessment processes given COVID-19.
This webinar was held on July 18, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET with facilitator Cheryl Chetkiewicz.
