Nick Crockford, M.E.S., is an Environmental Planner and Principal with Morrison Hershfield Limited.  He has worked on numerous projects across Canada for both the public and private sectors.  His current work focuses on impact assessments for municipal and provincial clients related to linear transportation facilities during all stages of the project, from planning to design and construction. Nick’s experience has also been heavily focused on complex projects where he has developed and implemented consultation/engagement programs.  These programs have included specific engagement opportunities with Indigenous Communities, large scale public open houses, stakeholder and public advisory committees, and online engagement practices, such as virtual/online open houses and website/social media content.  Nick is well versed in environmental legislation at both the provincial, federal, and territorial levels.  His previous work experience includes working for Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada where he assisted with federal policy development for Environmental Assessments in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.  Nick has been a member of the OAIA and a member of the Conference Planning Committee since 2017.
