Caroline is a Planner and Environmental Assessment Professional with 23 years of experience working in resource development environmental assessment, environmental planning and consultation in Canada. Her company, Odonaterra Inc. works with indigenous communities to create strategies and tools for stronger, balanced participation in environmental assessment and to support management of lands and resources and empowered, sustainable, healthy communities. Over the past decade, Caroline prepared and/or managed various human environmental assessment and environmental planning components of several natural resource development projects in Ontario including numerous mining, alternative energy and municipal planning projects. She has been a Technical Advisor on environmental assessment to several indigenous communities and organizations in the province. She has worked on provincial and federal environmental assessments and planning projects in several other Canadian jurisdictions including: Quebec, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

Caroline has served on the OAIA Board since 2011 serving as Treasurer from 2012 – 2016 and as President from 2016 – 2018. She has also been active in Conference Planning Committees, including as Chair for the 2017 conference. Caroline is a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario (since 2007), a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (since 2003) and taught for 2 terms (2016 and 2017) a fourth year course in environment geography at the University of Ottawa.  A committed lifelong learner, she has completed Public Involvement certification training and Managing Outrage training through IAP2, received years of training in project management, indigenous cultural awareness, and negotiation.
